Samples of WSCC logos
There have been many variations of logos. Here are some ideas for disciplines to work off of for Discipline Logos. You’ll see a low-res bitmap image, and underneath, a downloadable, a high-res vector version (PDF) that can be enlarged without quality loss.
The PDF documents could be inserted into a suitable graphics program and customized for Discipline specific logos. Some examples below.
The underlying graphics program I used is for a Mac, called Graphics. It is capable of exporting files for Photoshop, PDF, SVG (not recommended for web use as they are a means of delivering malware), and various bitmap versions.
The elements that make up the Simplified Logos are:
- A black circle, that defines the outer limit of the black roundel
- A curved graphics block that contains the letters “Winnipeg Sports Car Club”
- A curved graphics block that contains “wscc.mb.ca”
- An inner white circle that defines the inner bounds of the black roundel.
